Deliberate innovation has propelled their patented Enhanced Combat Readiness system (ECR), which allows a shooter to automate the activation of the light or laser combo through a magnetic-outfitted mechanism upon drawing a firearm from a holster. The ECR Laser/Light Combo can be automatically turned on or off through the magnetic-outfitted gadget specifically installed within a holster. If a shooter chooses to automatically exploit the ECR function, leaving the Laser/Light function "on" will automatically turn-on the function when drawing the handgun from a holster as well as automatically turn-off the combo selected when holstering the handgun.

Experienced shooters may not require such automation, therefore, the benefit of being able to manually operate the weapon mounted Laser/Light combo is still in place. However, now one has the ability for both options in one weapon mounted Laser/Light combo, especially the instant activation once a handgun is drawn.
